Unlike most printed products, beeswax wraps cannot be completely colorfast because waxing always gives them a yellow tint. During waxing, the wax coats the cotton and its CMYK color pigment layer, becoming the outermost layer. Natural beeswax is slightly yellow, and this tint covers the CMYK color layer underneath.
